In the past auctioneers regularly sold to traders, cash ready investors, builders, and developers – in those days it was largely restricted to specialist buyer groups with only a limited number of private buyers attending. The picture is very different now. It is becoming more mainstream and we now regularly sell to first time buyers, those purchasing with mortgages and even some buyers who have houses to sell.
