Entering the final quarter of our 40th year in business, Auction House Sussex and Hampshire can look back on 2023 as a year in which we continued to evolve as a company and enjoy new successes.
Having taken the decision this summer to expand into weekly National Online auctions, in addition to our Regional Livestream auctions with auctioneer Stewart Gray on the rostrum, we have been delighted with just how well our properties have performed, generating some impressive results for our clients.
In a recent National Online auction, featuring an Auction House Sussex and Hampshire property in St-Leonards-on-Sea, bidding opened on October 3rd for a period of 24 hours. The successful purchaser finally secured the property with a winning bid of £86,000 around lunchtime on Tuesday 4th October. The last-minute flurry of bids from various parties demonstrates just how well this new format is working for our buyers and vendors. If you’re interested in seeing it for yourself, you can review the bidding history here.
Adding these extra dates to our auction calendar to complement our Livestream auctions that take place every six to eight weeks, provides our clients with more flexibility and increased frequency, which translates to more opportunities to buy and sell at auction.
Adam Hinchcliff, a Partner at Auction House Sussex and Hampshire, commented: “We’re proud of what we’ve been able to achieve and how Auction House Sussex and Hampshire has adapted to better service our clients”.
Despite the end of 2023 quickly approaching, there are still opportunities to complete your next property deal at auction before the end of the year.
Auction House Sussex and Hampshire’s remaining auction dates in 2023 are:
• Weekly - National Online Auction
• 23rd November 2023 - Regional Livestream Auction
Please also note, future National Online auction dates may be added subject to demand.
