Marc Morrish - Director & Auctioneer

Marc brings over two decades of experience in estate agency and property sales to his role as Director and Auctioneer at Auction House South Wales in 2019. A fluent Welsh speaker, Marc is widely recognised as one of Wales’ leading property auction experts, with nine years’ experience as a specialist auctioneer.

Based in Penarth, Marc has achieved notable industry milestones, including a record-breaking £1.6 million auction of a Cardiff property, the highest single-property sale by a Welsh auctioneer. He is also known to Welsh audiences through his appearances on the property show Ar Werth, Homes under the Hammer & recently the long-standing Welsh Soap Pobol Y Cwm.

In his leadership role, Marc oversees both residential and commercial property sales, guiding the auction team and driving the company’s growth strategy across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region. His fluency in Welsh, combined with his expertise in high-value sales and deep understanding of local property markets, makes him an integral figure in Auction House South Wales’ continued success and expansion.

Mick Haywood - Director

Mick has been a driving force in the property industry since 1995, bringing nearly three decades of experience and expertise to Auction House Wales. He joined the business in 2012, when the franchise operated as Auction House South West Wales, and quickly established himself as a key leader, successfully developing the business and expanding its reach.

Under his guidance, the company transitioned to Auction House South Wales in 2016, before evolving into Auction House Wales in 2022, reflecting its growing presence and reputation across the region. Mick’s strategic vision, deep market knowledge, and hands-on leadership have been central to the company’s sustained growth, high performance, and strong client relationships.

As a director, Mick continues to shape the company’s future, ensuring Auction House Wales remains at the forefront of residential, commercial, and land property auctions, combining national brand strength with local expertise.
