Yes, you will need to pre-register to bid on the Auction House website for all auctions unless you are attending an in-room auction where you can register in person. Please check with the local auction team that they are accepting in-room registrations before attending.
The authorisation process can differ across regions and auctions.
You may also be required to submit card details for a pre-authorisation of funds which is a temporary hold of a specified amount. This will be released after the auction if you are not the winning bidder.
Whilst some regions will accept bidder registration on the day of the auction, it is highly recommended that you complete this process in advance to ensure you can be authorised in time.
You will not be able to register to bid on the website once a livestream auction has begun, and you will need to contact the auction team directly.
